"I first came into contact with Tony De Keizer in 1989 when we became only the 2nd veterinary practice in WA to computerise. Initially just using the Network software for accounts I was brutally introduced into a world with its own language and jargon, the computer age. Thanks to Tony, who incidentally has been the only computer guru I have even partially understood, we moved on to full integration 18 months after the accounts package, with case histories and the whole deal. It has been a love-hate relationship for me but from the outset I fully realised the obvious benefits of computerisation and whilst I still struggle with typing, I really value all it can achieve in the hands of my younger staff members and even myself.
